What activities do you do with your child at this age? We currently play a little (mostly showing pictures and hanging out on her playmat) , cuddle, do a bit of massage and listen to music but I feel I don't do enough... there's obviously going out with the pram also but I was wondering what else I could do to help her development?

Maybe it’s because I’m a teacher but I was always wary of overstimulation. This is completely unscientific, but I just think that, with everything being so new (including their bodily sensations), babies must need calm and quiet and time to process everything. That’s how I’d feel if I was a baby Wink

Enjoy chatting and cuddles - very soon they’ll be demanding constant play and attention Grin

@devildeepbluesea

Activities?! Feeding and being awake.
You forgot pooing and crying.

Just let them get used to being in the world, new sounds, temperatures, sensations. I don't think you need to introduce things/games, just live each day with them as a new one. We are addicted in this world for looking ahead instead of just being.
