Small white things in formula after mixing ?

When I mix my newborns bottle and when checking the temp on my hand I realise there's still some small white dots in it I shake it very very well I use apatamil does this happen to anyone else?

I ended up switching to the ready made cartons unless DH shook them, because no matter how hard I shook the bottles the little clumps of powered remained. Sometimes a little clump in the bottom too.

Do you mix it straight into boiling water? Just because the same thing happened to me and then I realised you need to let the boiling water cool for a while before adding the powder and then it mixes much better x
