my son wants to stay at his mums but she takes him in late to school

My 10 year old son is currently spending most of the week with me. He is still attending school. He wants to stay over at his mums during the week but she takes him in late to school by around an hour despite intervention from the school. I don't want to stop him from staying at his mums but I know he will be late into school. I would really appreciate some advice, thank you

If possible then you need to take him to school.

Why is his Mum taking him in so late?

What is in the custody agreement?

Why is she late? Doesn't she have s job to get to ?
She/he needs help and support by the sounds of it as this is not normal behaviour is it ?
