My ex is due to see DD in the next few weeks. He lives in one county and I live in another. We are both in tier 5. I feel that we should postpone his weekend with DD because of how quickly the variant spreads a lot quicker, I am shielding again. I know we can have a support bubble as single parents. My ex lives with his new girlfriend. He works in a warehouse so is mixing with other people. I know if I tell him it's not a good idea he will threaten me with all sorts, taking me back to court for full custody etc etc. I've been putting it off because I know he won't agree with it. So I will have to go through with it so he won't kick off.

I'm afraid he has the right to see his child and the guidelines are very clear that children from separated parents can go between their parents home. That's in all 4 countries of the UK
