Hi all my toddler is 2 middle of Jan
He is tbh huge and this is him in his joie stroller Blush
Can anyone recommend a stroller that is affordable but will be more roomy for him. He will need a stroller for at least 6 months or so I think being not yet 2.
Thank you

Can you get a second hand one on Ebay/ Gumtree? The last pushchair we
bought was an old Mountain Buggy which was great and had lots of room.

Second hand bee

You will probably need one which goes up to 25kg. Silver cross make them.

Thanks, I would rather a second hand one yes. Apart from silvercross?

Cosatto go up to 25kg I think

Mummydaydreams · 01/01/2021 18:25

The cosatto ones are small though as I had a woosh before. I'd go for a baby jogger city mini, 20kg weight limit and lots of room for a big pre schooler.

Second the second hand mountain buggy. Long seat back, lasts for ages and is smooth over everything!

Russell19 · 01/01/2021 18:29

Not cosatto, my boy is small and grew out of his at 16m. I have a oyster zero, its a wide seat and leg room is good too. I got mine 2nd hand.

InTheFamilyTree · 01/01/2021 23:13

Pretty sure most Phil and Teds buggies go up to 25kg

My four year old still comfortably sits in our mountain buggy when we went on 10 mile walks in lockdown and tbh isnt even early grown out of it and if I remember correctly it says will hold an average 5 year old we have the all terrain mountain buggy

DarkGreen · 03/01/2021 14:55

Babh jogger city mini - 100% the best for big toddlers. 10 a penny on Facebook market place too

SusieSusieSoo · 03/01/2021 15:03

I have a very tall Ds we had a MacLaren techno xt and we still used it when frankly he was far too old for a buggy but I sometimes had to take him to odd places at odd times so it was easier for me! (Late night shops, late travel stopping in m way services with him on my own)

Batteryislow · 03/01/2021 15:08

We have a baby jogger city mini gt, it's brilliant, my 2.5 yo is on 99th centile for height and he's comfortable in it. We got ours 2nd hand on gumtree I think.

Bluebelltulip · 03/01/2021 15:18

Out and about nipper. It goes up to 22kg and the rain cover completely covers the child. My 4 year old occasionally goes in it (swaps with younger brother and he does in the sling, if on a long walk) and still fits well.

problembottom · 04/01/2021 08:11

I have a tall DD who is 2 (75 centile for height and very chunky) and a City Mini Baby Jogger. She’s got loads of room left to grow in it.
