DS is formula fed and we began weaning at 6 months, he has 2 solid food meals a day. He is 7 months in a week so we've had a few weeks of weaning now and hes doing great.
He has been poorly with teething the last week, and has discovered he can clamp his mouth shut to try and refuse the calpol.
Which now seems to have led to him clamping his mouth shut to refuse his bottle! He did it last night on his last bottle, he only drank 3oz then went to bed (normally has 7oz on last bottle) then this morning he was crying for a bottle and then clamping his mouth shut the same!
After 10 minutes of wrestling the hungry bear he eventually let the bottle in...then only drank 2oz! He normally has 5-6oz for his first bottle.
Ive tried waiting and reintroducing the bottle, ive tried letting him hold it and guide it in but nope.
Any tips please?
