3 month old pooping with every pump

Hi!

My 3 month old has been settled into pattern for the last 6 weeks or so and normally poops once a day. However, for the last week with every pump she has been doing a poop, she’s pooping at least 8 times a day.

Sometimes just a small one other times a full nappy. It’s definitely looser than normal and I would say smellier but she seems absolutely fine within herself and she is still having plenty wet nappies and is still taking bottles no problem. I don’t think it’s a tummy bug as she’s not being sick etc . Has anyone else kids had this for a couple of weeks and went back to journal or does this sound a bit strange?

Thanks

So she’s got slight diarrhoea. We had patches of this and then it returned to normal, but three months is quite tiny.

Maybe give it another couple of days and phone your GP.

Do you mean when she passes wind? I’m confused as pumping in the context of babies usually means expressing breast milk.

Yes sorry when she’s passing wind

Has she just had the rota (sp) virus vaccine?

So she's following through when trumping/farting? I think leave it a couple more days as long as she's not dehydrated and make a doctor's appointment if she's still doing it. Has she recently had the rotavirus vaccine (I think they do that one at 12 weeks)? That can give them the runs.

No our clinics were cancelled until after Christmas for her 12 weeks vaccinations so she’s not had it recently.

Yeah so basically following through every time she’s passed wind. I will give the GP a call through the week if I don’t think it’s getting any better. Thankyou!
