Hello!!

My angelcare monitor has gone off with one short beep 3 times now, it is fully charged, and my baby is ok. I have been in to check each time - can anyone advise why this is happening?

I'm getting worried and stressed!!

I'm fighting the urge to wake my baby up and just hold her!

Please help!🙏

I should also add i have the sensor mat under the mattress which sends a signal to the monitor..

How old is your baby? Under 6m and she should be in the room with you anyway, and over 6m the monitor is pretty much useless as she'll be rolling.

Tbh, monitors like that - unless required for health conditions - are generally speaking more for the parents' anxiety than the child's safety - you'd be better off with a video one in my experience.

It beeps once when it hasn't detected movement for a certain amount of time (I forget how long). I think it does it to prompt a movement from baby, if it still doesn't detect any movement it then goes for the full on, continuous beeping. If I hear ours doing the single beeping I usually check LO is ok and also usually move her to make sure she's close enough to the pad under the mattress.
