Looking for some advice here please
Everything I do or try to do with our 2yr old daughter my partner / her dad does the opposite for example she wants chocolate at 7am I say no so he goes & gives her an adult size bar. I try to encourage her to drink water & he gives her very sugary drinks.
When I try to explain to him she shouldn’t be having that much sugar he says I am being mean & she’s a kid
It’s not just around food either it’s her behaviour too I am encouraging manners & he just winds her up so she shouts & screams
I don’t know what to do as every time I say something he turns it on me
I am not saying he can’t have a say in her upbringing we just need to find a middle ground but he won’t it’s all his way but when she is then bad cos she’s had too much sugar & she is screaming he moans at me about it
Anyone else had this with their partner?
