Leaky nappies

Hi, hoping someone can help!

I've been using pampers baby dry pants on my 1 year old since about 4 months old with no issues at all but now they're suddenly leaking at night!

He's in size 5 and has been for several months. I tried size 4 incase they were too loose (he's had a growth spurt and shot up and slimmed down) but they left lines round his waist and legs.

Any suggestions of the cause and/or solutions?

Thank you!

Is his penis pointing down the way in his nappy? When DS got to about a year old if his wasn’t pointing down (as opposed to the side etc) he’d pee out the edges of his nappy. Took me a few weeks to realise that’s what the problem was but once realised the leaking stopped

Always make sure he's not pointing upwards but not specifically checked for pointing to the sides, he does always seem to leak from the same side. Thanks for the tip!

I use rascal and friends that you can get form Tesco and I have never had a leave and they are made with no harsh chemicals.
