Does anyone know anything about diabetes?

I have searched through the books the OU sent, and literature and internet but still cant get a proper answer!
I need to know why biosynthetic insulin is preferred to human insulin in some cases?
Its driing me mad, even woke in night thinking about it!

Biosyn has much faster absorption rate compared to human insulin- that is much slower.

Thanks for that! Im getting soo confused with it all! Found something else that said the biosynthetic insulin has side effects like causing weight gain.The person in the question has been diagnosed with diabetes, been treated with medication, but thats not working.So dr has recpommened the bio insulin,and i have to explain why!
From what i have read this is a bad idea, if the man is already suffering from obesity,the bio insulin would increase his weight gain!!??
AAAAHHH doing me head in already,This is my first Ou course as you can probably gather,lol!!
