2 year old wetting through

I’m really struggling at the moment with my little boy. The last few weeks he is constantly wetting through his nappies.
Today I had to change his trousers 4 times. He wets through at night every other night. I put 2 nappies on him to try to stop this but still no joy. I’m lucky that this doesn’t affect his sleep. He’s quite a lazy boy and cares more about sleeping than wet pjs.
I’ve tried every brand of nappy going and found that they are all the same. He wets through them all. He’s in size 5 nappies which coincides with his weight. I’ve tried size 6 nappies but that didn’t work either. I’ve tried 5+ nope. He wears a mixture of nappies and pull ups because I’m trying to potty train him.
He does drink plenty but I don’t want to limit his intake as this won’t be any good for him. I just always make sure he’s got a full cup and he drinks it when he wants to. On 2 occasions within the last week we’ve gone out and I’ve changed him before leaving the house and as soon as we got there he’s wet through. Both times there weren’t any baby changing facilities and I felt mortified at changing my son’s nappy and clothes in the back of my car in the middle of December. I’m now feeling that people are judging me. People see him wet through and think that I don’t change his nappy often, almost like I’m neglecting him. Someone felt the need to ‘suggest/remind’ me to change him the other day. I make a point of changing him at least every 2 hours and lately it seems like that’s not enough either. He wets through before then. I don’t know what to do. It’s getting to the point that I don’t want to leave him with people to babysit because it’s not fair on them to have to completely change his entire outfit every couple of hours.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated because I don’t know what else to do.

Maybe change him more often, like every hour

Also, you are worrying to much about what other people think - It sounds like a normal enough thing to happen

Maybe it’s time to potty train during that day. He is 2 so the prime age for it.

Pull ups have been awful for us, both poo and wee leaking through. We use 6+ aldi nappies and they've worked well Smile

Thank you everyone for your advice. We are currently trying to potty train so hopefully it won’t be long before he’ll be out of nappies 🤞

Hi, I know this hasn't been posted on for a while, but did you find any reasons for this? I'm in exactly the same boat, the last couple of weeks have resulted in absolutely soaking nappies wet through within 1/2 hours... really unusual! Day and night, never had an issue with this before.
