Au Pairs

After discussions last night with my husband, its likely im going to have to get an Au Pair next year to help me out. My husband is due to deploy (hes in the military) and I dont live near either set of parents.

Has anyone had an Au Pair before? Where do I even go about finding one? Does anyone have any tips or advice about getting one?

My son will be around 18 months to 2 years old when i'll need to employ one.

Thanks!

Aupair world you can find au pairs. However, they are not meant to look after young children alone....will you be around to keep an eye? We have had au pairs, but I keep an eye when the au pair is watching the baby. I am always around...although, now she is comfortable and capable. She helps the older two with school work. She is basically an extra pair of hands, as three kids and a dog can be a handful when husband works long hours.
