12weeks jab tips

Any tips to make my DS feel more comfortable after his 12 week jabs? We are going at 10am today.
He had calpol for the last lot which helped. Same again perhaps or no need?

My baby was much better after his 12 week jabs compared to his 8 week ones. The 12 week ones don’t have the MenB vaccine so he won’t get a fever so no need for calpol (unless you think his legs are sore after the jabs).

If you breastfeed you could feed him straight after the jabs to calm him down. I fed my baby in the nurses room which calmed him down instantly.

Good luck! Their jabs are the worst. I’m dreading the 16 week ones 😖

I don’t think they need calpol after these ones; both my DC were sleepy after the 8 week ones (probably the calpol) but no different after the 12 week ones

Thank you ladies. Are there 16 week ones? When I took him for his 8 week jabs they said 12 weeks and then at 1 year old?

Yeah we have the 16 week jabs on Christmas Eve :/ dreading it because it’s the second dose of the MenB which made my baby feel like crap

My DS was so upset all day after he had that at 6 weeks! Deep joy!! 😭😭
