6 month old constantly scratching neck and chest

Hi
My 6 month old son is constantly scratching his neck and chest. We aren’t sure if it’s dribble rash or eczema. The GP saw a photo and suggested zinc and castor cream but it hasn’t seemed to help?

Anyone got any suggestions? It seems to be really irritating him

Thanks

Is get back in touch with your GP and keep pushing until they either examine him in person or prescribe you something stronger.
Have you considered tour baby may have an allergy?
If you have started weaning baby at be allergic to something your feeding them?

It amazes me how many doctors don’t look at the cause.

It could be an allergy, look at the last food you have introduced. I have also found too much of some foods, especially if they are processed cause rashes.

Sometimes washing powder/liquid is too strong or the clothing tags irritate sensitive skin.
