Any ideas? Baby screams..?

Hello,

I was just wondering if any other babies out there went through a screaming stage at 6 months? My girl is a little off 6 months but just keeps screaming randomly, not crying nor distressed, she just screams? Just super high pitched, long screams then smiles?

Thank you for reading🙂

It's just a phase babies have. They're constantly developing and learning so she's just testing her voice.

Yes this is a normal (annoying) phase Smile

She's having fun! Mine did this too. It's actually pretty funny, honestly.

Oh is it? She likes to wake up this way too! It's constant all day! I was beginning to worry as it's very loud and thought the neighbours might think she's hurt!

First time mum nerves!

Oh God, we had this a few months ago! It was awful for a while, I thought the same re: the neighbours. Thankfully it has passed now 🤞

My son was WAY more vocal at this age than his sister and I was so thankful we lived in a detached house. He would scream the place down. Happy screams, but still, screams. If I had had direct neighbours they would have hated us.

I'm a ground floor flat with a shared flat above! There's 3 up there and I'm in the middle of two other houses! Poor neighbours, she does it at 1am sometimes!

Yes one of my DGC did this around 8 - 12 months. Mainly when she was excited that something like a cat, dog, bird, child on a bike/scooter had come into sight and she would just issue this long, high pitched shriek. It was ear splitting and lovely when she grew out of it.

Yes, my little girl went through this at about the same age. Started when we was out for Sunday dinner so that was nice for everybody! Pleased to report she's 10 months now and has stopped.
