What time do you take your devices from your teens at night?
Having discussions with our 13yo

We take them away 930 school night and 1030 weekends.

She's claiming that her friends have them till all hours.

It doesn’t matter what their friends do. It’s your house so your rules. Just make sure it works for your family as they get older.

9, sometimes later at weekends but we won’t be upping this. I teach year 11 who have their phone taken at 9 and it is better for them. After 9 is the witching hour when kids are tired and often really horrible to each other. Stick to your guns.

This is for this. Never really thought about the effect on each other at that time.... only about sleep.
