What finger foods do you give to your 8 month olds??

And how do you serve it? Like do you chop it in to little bits, strips, mash it etc.

Thanks

Toast with scrambled eggs is a messy finger food but popular one

Savoury muffins in chunks

Pitta bread or soft cooked veggies with hummus

Pasta with pesto

Toast and Pitta cut in strips

Well-cooked pasta bows or penne, halved grapes, berries, sliced kiwi, satsuma, sliced red pepper, cucumber sticks, avocado, halved cherry tomatoes, cooked carrot batons, broccoli florets, baby sweetcorn, green beans, mini rice cakes, mini breadsticks, boiled potato or butternut chunks, torn up tortilla wrap, chopped up sausage (baked, not grilled as the skin would be too tough), grated cheese, cubes of tofu, sliced hard boiled egg, torn up cooked chicken breast, tuna/salmon/white fish chunks, butterbeans, torn up Yorkshire pud

I've fine baby led weaning, so give whatever we're eating for all meals. Foots either cut in finger length strips or if small and round like tomato's I quarter them. Look up what mummy makes on insta or get her book, or find a BLW group on fb they have tonnes of ideas and pictures of how to cut flood x

Great, thank you everyone!

We have been mainly giving my Daughter purées, but I have 2 children under 3 so would be easier if she can do a little bit of feeding herself.
