Toys for 4 year old boy

I'm in need of some inspiration for DS, I feel like he flits between everything at the moment.

What do your 4 year olds enjoy?

At that age my DS was train & Thomas mad. Has your DS got anything he prefers?

Playmobil. DS1 liked the farm, hospital and police station, but my DN prefers the fantasy sets like the pirate ship, space ship and dragons castle.

Floor puzzles - Orchard Toys and Galt are good makes.
Lights and sounds doctors kit

Maybe something small world related he can set up and play with and expand overtime. Schliech, playmobil, sylvanian families.

And some kind of building thing. Lego, kapla, knex, wooden blocks, marble run

Have a look at a site called Wicked Uncle, you can choose age, boy/girl etc and it shows you a shed load of toys etc. I use it for my DNs cos otherwise I’d have NO idea!

Something like a doll's house, castle, toy tree house which is versatile and can be played with in lots of ways (pirate island, police station, superhero base, dinosuar world, hospital etc etc) is good if his interests keep changing. We have all three of these things and they get played with so much.

My DS loved dressing up at this age we had multiple costume changes a day
