My baby HATES tummy time

Hi ladies.
My post is pretty much the subject header! DS absolutely hates being on his tummy. He screams blue murder!
My concern is, is that he won't roll over if he hates being on his tummy.
I have tried tummy time various times and it doesn't last any longer than 10 seconds!
I've tried a rolled up towel, I even have a tummy time mat/seat my friend bought me. I've tried various ways of tummy time and he hates them all!
All this stuff on google saying it will affect your baby's development if things aren't done in the right order?!?!
DS is 10 weeks and he is already holding his head up by himself and turning it from left to right. He also grabs my hands and tries to pull himself to sitting and loves being sat up on my lap, so I don't think he's slow in the development side of things, so far.
Am I worrying over nothing here? Is tummy time really THAT important??

We couldnt really do tummy time due to severe reflux but baby met all of the milestones on time, everyone in family just told me it wasnt a thing when they had their kids and to not worry so that was quite reassuring as I remember worrying about it at the time.

Dd hated it. In the end I used to lie on sofa with knees raised and have her head on my knees so she was a little more upright If that makes sense

It still counted as tummy time. I still dont know if she rolled over at the correct time (I didnt follow apps so no idea) but shes 6 and perfectly fine.

As mentioned, time in a baby carrier/mei tai/sling counts as tummy time. Get yourself a good comfy carrier and wear your baby around the house a bit.

It's invented bollox.. humanity has managed pretty well for thousands of years without 'tummy time'

My DD hated it too so I didn't really bother with it. She's nearly two and doing grand!

@Trickyboy your post made me laugh! 🤣🤣 some of things I read for new parents is just so stupid! Whilst fundamentals are there some of it just makes me cringe!
As you said, a lot of it is utter bollocks!! 🤣🤣

I do it with mine on me...I lay on my chest then lean back, seems to be better than shoving him on the floor?
