Oral thrush

Despite being dismissed by two GPs over symptoms, I’ve discovered that DS has oral thrush. Thick white coating on tongue that won’t come off and white spots, upset at feeds, very gassy. I have had shooting pains in my breasts but thought that was just breastfeeding.

Has anyone had it? How quickly does it clear up? Is it just treatment or do I need to look at my diet?

Thanks

You would need treatment

Yes, we get the treatment tomorrow, I just wish weed if there was anything else I needed to do to support the both of us?

Dismissed by two of them?? That's odd, what did they say? Im sorry to be annoying here but are you 100% sure? I thought my daughter had it when she was very young but it was actually just milk because she fed SO much. Every 15 mins, no joke. How old is your DS?

I had it with DD1 and it was hideous. It felt like I was showering in razor blades. You both need to be treated and thing which touches your boob, bedding, towels, bras and reusable breast pads need to be hot washed.
