Help! Baby not pooing!

My DS is nearly 3 weeks old and the last 2 days I've completely weaned him off breast milk and he's just on formula.
He had 1 poo on Friday which was more solid than his previous runny poos.
He's not had a poo since, trumps a lot though. Seems uncomfortable when passing wind but guess that's normal? No crying in pain or any typical constipation symptoms but I've read he should be pooing a lot more daily when formula fed.
Do I need to go to the doctors or is this pretty normal for the first few days after moving onto formula completely.
Side note, he's had formula since about 4 days old along with breast feeding.

I think my daughter didn't poo for about 6 days after swapping from BM to formula... we did a warm bath, bicycle legs and tummy massages! HV said when it gets to a week go to the doctors. Oh when she finally went, did she go! It was everywhere!

Formula is harder to digest so I'd wait a week like the poster above said.

Thanks guys!
Hopefully he goes soon 🤞🏽

So did I but apparently not 🤷🏼‍♀️

He could yeah, I've considered this but he's still having plenty of wet nappies

Don't give a 3 week old pre boiled water. Read what can happen if you give a baby water to early it can cause swelling to the brain etc! X

Yeah it's just something that's defo not worth it. Try the warm bath massage and rub the tummy in circles the same direction as the intestines and legs! X

Definitely not!

Yeah been trying all these, nothing as of yet but we're only on day 2. He seems fine in himself and it's not bothering him so hopefully we'll get a dirty nappy soon! 😌

My first was like that she went every 2 days and that was normal for her. It's normal for babies not
To go every day! Aslong as they do around 2-3 a week that's fine! X
