Try feeding in the bathroom with the shower running. The steam helps.

Calpol will help with his sore throat. Have you got any shops nearby that sell a Nose Frieda/ snot sucker? They are grim but worked a treat with my snotty babies!

Hi OP, the best things I used to give my LB was saline spray up nostrils and use the snotter sucky thing, u can get it from the supermarket. The next best thing was the calpol vapour plug in at night when they r sleeping. Plug it in and sleep with it on its amazing and highly recommend. Hope it clears up and little one OK x

Saline spray up nose beforehand feeds, regular Calpol.

Definitely saline, it's magic. I found drops better than spray. Also Snufflebabe is ok from 3months I think

Roselilly36 · 28/11/2020 18:56

Saline drops may help. If not bath baby, and hopefully he will be able to breath better and feed immediately after. Your baby is very young ring 111 for advice.

Snot sucker! Works amazingly i wish someone would do it to me when I have a cold. You could also try going for a walk in the cold air.
