Weaning at a bad time

12month old DD was always breastfed but has recently pretty much lost interest (as in, no boob for the last few days) and I'm relatively OK with that, BUT she's got a tooth coming and i think is coming down with a cold, both of which usually mean boob is the only way to get her to sleep or calm her down. How long can i go between feeds without losing my supply? Should i try to convince her to breastfeed even if she's not fussed, just til we're out of this sticky patch? How do people comfort not-very-snuggly babies without boobs!?

When my child was 9 or 10 months I used to feed her bed time & morning. 2 feeds a day about 10-12 hrs apart did this for a few months.
So think supply adjust s to level of feeding you are doing.

So if i don't feed her for 5 or 6 days because she's not interested, do you think when she's poorly and wants it again I'll still have supply?

My lo has weaned but will still use the boob as a dummy substitute even though milk is v limited... might that work?
