16m old - no nap

My 16m old no longer naps. They sleep for about 10-12 hours a night and that's about it. We don't really have a routine so sometimes they sleep 7-7/8 and sometimes 11-10 as an example. They are no bother in the day - eats well, functions well, laughs lots etc.

I've read that children shouldn't drop naps until around 3 years old.

Has anyone had similar?

P.s. Is this the correct thread subject for this sort of question?

Mine dropped her naps at the same age, but supposedly I did too.

They drop naps when they feel like it. My son did at 2, my friends son at 1, niece at nearly 4! Depends on the child I think. As long as they are well rested and happy, I'd roll with it. Quiet time in the day for 20 minutes or half an hour is always a good thing, where they look at books or similar to have a bit of a rest (and you can have a cuppa!)

Great - thanks guys! I'll let them lead the way then. I don't mind her not napping and, like you say, down time now and again with a story or colouring book!
