Hiya I've a nearly 2.5 year old boy. He is very tall for his age and very heavy. I have a bad back (scoliosis) and I do get aches and pains with it. Recently I've started to get pains in my chest to me I feel they are muscular. I have to lift him into his car seat, out again, into the high chair etc. I was wondering does anyone else have a heavy child and have they ever gotten chest pain with lifting them? Thanks Smile

Hi OP! I’m an osteopath and sounds like you may have costochondritis. Have you tried icing it or some simple anti inflams? Also basic pec stretches?

@CountryGirl36 thank you so much for replying to me, no I haven't tried any of those but I will. I know for a fact I'm not lifting him the correct way and I am definitely straining myself a lot. I will look into that further.
