As it says in the title really. Should I be switching my baby onto a faster teat by this age? Or is it ok to stick to size 1?

Is your baby happy? Does she feed well?

SuperSleepyBaby · 23/11/2020 23:30

If the baby is happy an drinking well it is fine.

You can stick a pin through the teat to make another hole if you need the milk to flow faster

Does it not take ages for a feed?

My 14 month old is still on size 2s🤦🏻‍♀️ ive tried so many times to switch him to larger ones but it just isn't having any of it! Which is so weird because he has his water out of a free flow! But he seems to have tuned out fine if that helps!😂

Mine is 7 months and size 1. As long as you're sure they are getting enough and feeding well, then it is ok x mine doesn't like fast flow...

Does it not take ages for a feed?

@BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz it takes him about 10-15 mins to drink 240ml. Is that normal?

I didn't know there were different sized teats until after my DS was weaned.

As long as they are not getting frustrated with how long it takes to feed, there's no need to change.
