21 month old - sleep going to pot and now needing to get into our bed!

Hi All,

Just looking for some thoughts (and maybe reassurances that my baby won't still be in my bed when they are 12 Grin)

DD has generally been a very good sleeper, from 15 months we've battled with some teeth and colds but we really seem to be going backwards now.

A bad flare up of eczema has caused some over night waking due to irritation/scratching she ends up awake enough to call for me and once I am in the room I can no longer just sshh and pat her, I need to pick her up. She promptly collapses into me asleep and I have been bringing her into our bed until she is in a deep sleep and transferring her back. The problem is this is now nightly, her skin is still bad so I don't feel I can just refuse to pick her up, and frankly if bringing her into bed means we all sleep then I don't mind. BUT, will she now need this until I train her not to? shall I wait for her skin to clear up and then tackle it?

any similar experiences/advise welcome
