Is Tommee Tippee cup any good?

This one: www.amazon.co.uk/First-Essentials-Tommee-Tippee-190ml/dp/B077TWNKC4/?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

Is this what is known as a sippy cup and are they any good? Is it better to use one of these over an open cup?

I’ve tried a Munchkin cup and it’s not working for us - I could barely get any water out of it myself, so not sure how my 7 month old DS is meant to!

That's the type I recommend to parents, it's easy to hold and drink from, easy to clean and fairly leak proof when closed.

Yes! I have spent a fortune on different fancy cups but this is by far the best.

Worked for us. We tried a few. This one was the best, in my opinion.

I have a couple of those and two Doidy cups - she uses the open cup when under close supervision but the Tommy Tippee when I’m doing something else.
At 20 months she has taken to pouring from her Tommy Tippee into her Doidy cup to drink from 🤣

Yes really good cups. Much cheaper from the supermarket though, I pay £1.50 for ours

I find these are better for young babies but toddlers like to pour from them and I prefer the munchkin cups for that reason. They are easy, just allow your lip to press on the upper seal.

I think I want my DS to drink from a free-flowing cup - the Munchkin rim doesn’t seem to simulate a natural drinking action, unless I’m doing it wrong?

Yes I used them with my 2 as well. Can also be used with the lid off
