DD weighs 18lbs - too heavy?

My daughter is 7 months exactly today and I got her weighed this afternoon. It turns out she now weighs 18lbs - which I think is quite a lot above average for her age. When she was born she was on the 50th centile so her weight seems to have accelerated quite a bit. Is it possible for a baby to be overweight and is this anything to be concerned about?

It’s hard to measure her accurately as she’s so wriggly! She will be measured at her eight month check in December so I will find out then.

I've just calculated it. She's now 8.1kg. Plotted that on chart linked above for 7mo and she's on 50th or a little below. So I'm not sure your HV has plotted right.
She would have been closer to 75th centile with that birth weight so if anything, I think she's dropped

FWIW DS was about 21lb at 6mo. But tracked a line and finally at almost 3.5yo, his height has caught up (was a line lower for height than weight for a long time)
