Heat rash?

Sorry for bad pics! This rash appeared on DD yesterday. Called doctor who looked at it and said probably heat rash - no itching or blistering. It's now appeared on her stomach and back and is still here today, but a bit lighter, and I can't feel the bumps as much anymore. I know I should listen to the doctor but I just wanted to get opinions on here! She's playing and is happy so I don't think she's ill, I just worry!

Look at her cute little tum!

Do they go away when pressed?

WindFlower92 · 17/11/2020 15:23

Yes @Letsallscreamatthesistene, I've tried the glass pressed against it and they disappear. Haha love her little tummy!

I'd say that's a heat/sweat rash.
My DS has it similar if he gets too hot or where he spits up and dribbles a lot so his baby grows are Damon before we change him

Yes, sweat rash from the looks of it.
Stop using fabric conditioner on her clothes/towels/bedding or rinse it twice.
Cotton clothes and bedding.

Thanks both; sorry for being stupid @FippertyGibbett but if it's to do with heat what does fabric conditioner have to do with it? Is she possibly having a reaction to that? We got her a new sleeping bag a couple of days ago and didn't wash it before use, could she maybe be reacting badly to it? I feel reassured though!

I always wash bedding personally, so maybe give it a wash tomorrow. It’s just in case they’ve put any finishing product on it.
Fabric conditioner in case she’s having a reaction to it.
You don’t really need softener, washing powder/liquid has a softener in it.
And make sure she’s not too hot, you want her warm not hot.

Thanks, will give it all a wash tomorrow!
