My DS is 2 year 2 months.
I'm sure he's nearly ready for potty training.
He is fully away when he's wet or when he's done a poo, he will bring us a nappy out th basket now for a change.
Done a poo this morning, brought me a nappy and said phwoarr stink! 😂

I just don't know where to start, pull ups, and potty?
Or straight for pants and toilet steps?

Any good tips would be appreciated thank you!

My one piece of advice would be buy the oh crap potty training book. I used that in first lockdown with DD and she was potty trained within a week, dry at night within about 1/2 months. Oh and set aside a week where you have absolutely no other plans whatsoever - lockdown is perfect for this.

NHS app Poo Goes Home to Pooland was excellent for DS2. But don't rush it. If it doesn't work stop and try later. Both my boys were almost 3 when we did them. DS1 got it all immediately and was dry at night immediately. DS2 took a bit longer and stayed in pull ups at night for ages which was fine by me. We didn't bother with potties. Got baby bjorn steps and toilet seats that go on the normal toilets. Good luck!!

I second oh crap method!

Aside from the book I would say once you start don’t go backwards, once nappies are gone they are gone- pull ups for nights only

Another vote for "oh crap"
Make sure you've got some wine/gin/chocolate/biscuits for you
Some sort of covering for soft furnishings, lift up any rugs you've got.
