Anyone got any ideas? Did your little one receive anything that you thought was a particularly nice idea? Would prefer something that he can keep rather than plastic toys etc. Around £50ish but happy to spend more for something special 😊

Nice wooded walker with blocks, ride along train/fire engine etc (again the wooden ones are lovely and last a bit longer).

You could get a nice wine that would age and you can give him when 18

A toot toot driver set was a big hit with my DS (we have the train one but all their sets look great Smile

We bought a lovely wooden ark by Lanka Kade, DS loves playing with the animals.

DS got a ride on car for his first birthday and 16 months later he's still as obsessed with it as he was then. It's his most played with toy and it brings him so much joy.

We got ours a little armchair - it's been used every single day for a year and he loves it so much! His wooden barn with animals is also played with pretty much all the time a year later.

My little guy is 1 later this month!
My parents got him a rocking horse and DH's parents got him a trike. They're in their boxes in our house until his Birthday.
As these are 'big' presents (and there's hardly any room left in the front room with the boxes!) we're getting him a soft football.
We had also considered opening a bank account but didn't seem very 'fun'.

We got a wooden barn / animals, a wooden Noah’s ark / animals, a telly tubby, a macapaca, vtech microphone, toot toots, plastic slide for the garden, plus various clothes, pjs and rattles / tambourine etc
