Well, i ordered some in newborn size and they arrived yesterday- i am amazed- they are bummis super whisper wraps which i've ALWAYS loved i got a couple of patterned ones as well and these are the tt ones but the plain white ones are bummis NB- for £2.50- they cost about a fiver to buy in at wholesale prices so a bargain imo!!!

i'm off to get some more!

I want a waffle bags, but although they're only £1.25, with delivery it's £5.19

preggersagain · 17/10/2007 12:26

i know, the delivery charge is 3.95 no matter what you get so obv the more you get the better the value- have a warm fuzzy feeling atm- very proud of myself for being a thrifty money saver now have enough wraps for the twins up to about 9 months!!

Can I ask opinion on what I would need for dd. She is 5mths old but weighs nearly 10lb, how many wraps nappies would i need to get me started she normally has about 4 dirty very runny nappies a day think its cos im still b/f her. I would love to try these now but dont know what to get or where to start any advise appreciated.

laura032004 · 17/10/2007 13:39

Hia soremummy You're really best starting a new thread to get lots of answers to your question. I would advise getting about 6 wraps if you have lots of dirty nappies, and a fitted type of nappy rather than prefolds. A lot depends on how often you are prepared to wash the nappies, how you can dry them (tumble drier?), how much you want to spend... Start a new thread, and you'll get lots of helpful replies I'm sure

preggersagain · 17/10/2007 14:36

soremummy- i'd give the tt starter pack a go- for 18 quid even if they don't agree with your lifestyle just use them for at least 3/4 weeks and they've paid for themselves prefolds aren't the best system but loads of people use them quite happily- its how out started out in nappying!

laura have just ordered some more wraps and bits, and put a waffle bag into my order for you, if you want it. I can post it to you.

ooh I love a bargain! My little boy (10 days) is still in disposables because the airflow and rikki wraps i have are too big on the legs so I might try some of these newborn wraps seeing as they're only £2.50 each!

Does anyone know, could I use these wraps with terry nappies (or muslins)?

Thanks,
ziggy
