I am just back from cassiobury park with my two rugrats. DS1 found a M&S light brown soft dog at the climbing frame at the CHA CHA CHA tea rooms. The dog was under the slide which is shaped like a fire engine. I am only posting this as ds1 who is 4.5 was VERY concerned that this was someone's precious dog, and that they would be upset when they found that they had lost it.

We handed it in to the CHA CHA CHA tea rooms to the pregnant lady that works there. Hope who ever lost it uses MN, and will get it back soon.

TBA ds1 wanted me to make posters and stick them to every tree in the park to let people know, I said I would do it here

What a thoughtful little boy deegward! Has he read Dogger by Shirley Hughes?

Marina, I thought of Dogger when I read that. I used to read that to my brother and sister when I was younger - found it quite hard as I'm a big softy!

Deegward - your DS sounds lovely

To all that lurked and those that posted. We went back to Cassiobury this weekend, and enquired after the 'dog'. He wasn't there, so we can only assume that he was picked up, by his rightful owner.

Fireworks are on 6th Nov at 7.30pm - publice service annoucement over
