Cows milk allergy baby?

Did anyone have a cows milk allergy baby if so when did they grow out of it, or intolerance. My little boy is 3 months old and just wanting to know when it's likely he will grow out of it. Prescription milk is making him have soooo much wind and awful reflux

My son has it and hasn't grown out of it (he's almost 4)

It does get easier though, especially once they get used to the formula.

Mine grew out of it around a year. He’s almost 4 now and fine. Baby no 2 also has it is currently 6 months and his reflux and wind all settled down at 4/5 months when he got a bit more upright and was well established on his milk. Hang in there!

2.5 can tolerate all dairy except raw milk. Perhaps try a thickener for the prescription milk.

I had it and grew out of it about 4/5 yrs but my parents got a goat to supply me with milk up til then - they were quite hippyish and it was the 70’sGrin

My DC was around 3 before things got better but the intolerance still hasn’t gone - now 7.

What formula is he on?

Niece has cmpi. She's 6 now and i think can tolerate most products (cheese, yoghurt etc) but would struggle with a glass of cows milk. She just has almond milk instead.

About 5 years for my older son. 15 years and no sign of improvement for the younger one so we are assuming it will be life long.
