Every feed ends with my baby crying

Hi. In need of any wisdom or advice. My combi fed 9 week old for the past 2-3 weeks has been crying during or after feeds. He will often take a bit, go to sleep, wake up crying, take more and then cry during the feed. This evening and quite a few evenings he has screamed on and off during feeds. We walk and bounce him around but then he appears to be hungry, we feed him a bottle, he takes a bit but then screams and cries. This goes on all evening until he sleeps. He has been putting on weight okay so far. Please anything that can help? My husband and I are beginning to lose our minds. Thanks

My lo is like this, I think it is due to her reflux. We have been in contact with the infant feeding team. I am going to call them again tomorrow after a particularly tough weekend. Yesterday we ended up giving her a bath to calm her down and then I fed her lying on the bathroom floor with us both wrapped in a towel.

I'm breastfeeding and find that she is better when we feed lying down or stood up with her completely upright. Sometimes getting her to sleep in the sling and then feeding when she is just starting to wake up helps.

Does he have any other symptoms? Do you have an infant feeding team? If it's only evenings could it be "a witching hour" thing?

Is it the same during the day? Evenings are notorious for the witching hour and fussy behaviour.

If this is just evenings and fairly consistent on times then it's witching hours. It's developmental and will pass quite soon.

Best tip is to eat before it starts and breastfeed through it. It will pass

My SIL's son would cry during and after being fed (all throughout the day, not just at night). Found out that he actually had a milk intolerance.

My DS was like this. GP insisted it was reflux, but was a milk allergy.
