Travel system for 1 year old

My little boy is 10 months and weighs 22lbs. We currently have the silver cross pioneer but I'm looking to sell it and buy a new travel system (will be having more kids some day) because the pioneer is too heavy and doesn't handle bumps/curbs well. Any recommendations? I'd like something that fold up too so it's space saving. I do have a buggy but I want something warmer for Winter that he can also fall asleep in (which he doesn't in the buggy) and something that'll last for a few years to come...

Bugaboo bee?

We bought a second hand one very cheaply to replace our Cosatto travel system. It folds up neatly, fully reclines and can be parent or world facing. It doesn't have a separate carrycot bit, just newborn support for the fully reclined pushchair. This is what makes it easier to store. They also hold their value so you'd be able to sell on. Ours is at least 3rd hand and still going strong.

Ahhh sounds good, and yes second hand is what we want so I'll have a look. Does it go over bumps etc well?

It's fine for what we need it to do but I wouldn't take it 'off road' - it's always a compromise between lightweight/ease of storage and a smooth ride. I'm happy with the overall compromise - it fits so easily in a small boot and feels very good quality.

Another bonus is that all the parts are replaceable (which is why they last so long), so I've bought a different coloured hood and a new liner all second hand off ebay.

Babyjogger pushchairs are excellent. We have a city mini which is comfy and very easy to manoeuvre and has a one hand fold and folds down nice and small. There are loads around second hand, it's a very popular item.

Also the city mini GT which is similar but has off road tyres so great if you go walking etc.
