Periods & Breastfeeding....

I had a 4 day bleed about 5 weeks ago but nothing since. I’m still breastfeeding a lot and at night. How irregular can they be? X

When I was exclusively breast feeding my first baby, my periods cane back when he was 4 months old and settled back into their pre-baby cycle pretty quickly.

When I was exclusively breastfeeding my second baby (and continuing to bf alongside weaning) my periods didn’t come back until he was about 15 months old and they weren’t regular at all.

I don’t think there is a one size fits all answer I’m afraid.

I just like to be organised and these scatty periods are making me feel on edge lol. I’m still feeding him a lot so was surprised (& a little disappointed) that they came back. I just don’t feel right in myself, body feels all over the shop.
I had a terrible migraine all weekend and back ache and felt very much like my period was coming but nothing.
