hi - for DC2 is there anything I need to do or do I have to wait for the registration?

I remember with DC1 there was a form in the Bounty pack but I didn't get one from hospital this time due to Covid I think.

gov.uk website says to call up but the answer message says theres no need?

No the details are not passed on automatically
The website says the form is for a first child and to phone to add on a new child

You can claim child benefit without registering the child first. You still need to call the child benefit office to add the new baby to your existing claim
