Hi,

Is it ok to make a Nutramigen bottle up using Perfect Prep? I'd read that it wasn't advised so any advice would be great, thanks!

If it's the same as when my DC was on neutrimigan - no because unlike most formula neutrimigan is made up with not boiling water because you want to keep the helpful lactobacillus alive to help DC deal with the altered milk protein. The label said it was different to normal formula, so check the instructions.

I believe nutramigen is made up differently to standard formula, and you need to be mindful of the heat. What do the instructions say?

My DS is on nutramigen and I've always used the perfect prep machine. He seems fine and has been on it for 4 months now.

I use it with nutramigen but just press the button twice so al the water is in (and it's room temp technically) before adding formula!
