Milk at nursery

Hi all,

My little boy is 8 months old and I’m breastfeeding. I give expressed milk to the nursery to feed him during the day alongside solids.

He’s eating loads of solids at nursery but only manages 70ml of milk on a good day. When I’ve asked them, they say they offer more but he just doesn’t want it. Should I be worried that he’s not getting enough breast milk in the day?

He has a feed from me when he wakes in the morning, when he gets home from nursery, before bed and then is waking 2 or 3 times in the nights to feed.

Thanks

I wouldn’t be worried, dd started nursery at 6 months and by 8 had dropped to one bottle on a good day, we would give a 6oz but she’d rarely drink it.

My son is 7 months and is fast on his way to dropping one of his daytime bottles. I can only get about 3oz in him for the 10am feed, same for the mid-afternoon one. Hes the same at nursery. This evening I was actually mulling over stopping the 10am one altogether and offering water and a snack instead.
