Thirsties wraps (or, someone please stop me spending more money!)

I'm a big fan of Motherease Airflow wraps and DS needs the next size up. I know I should really just stick with the tried-and-tested but am really tempted to try the new Thirsties wraps. Can anyone tell me if they are any good? (please say no)

Also, he's starting with a childminder next month, and I thought of getting some easy to use pocket nappies. I've tried putting him in a Bumgenius, and it seems to work fine. They are quite expensive at £14. Does anyone know if they last for more than one baby? I've heard the velcro can wear out...

Thanks!

The Thirsties are fab, feel lovely and wash and dry in hours. You can put them on your radiator and not worry about the velour being affected. My only reservation is the velcro, if only they would do poppers. We are using for nightnappies with a toddler, with extra boosting with Airflows, and the overall size is pretty neat.

Sorry to encourage you...

Hi - just wanted to say that with the new Bumgenius v3 coming out, you can pick up the v2s (I suspect this is what you already have) cheap - they are 2 for £14 at Nappyzone or £7 each on Amazon. I have some of the v2s and don't really feel the need to "upgrade" to a v3 and this is a really good price.

I have had some problems with velcro on one of mine, but this was replaced (after a few emails!) Not sure whether they would last well for more than one, but very handy to have a few (we use for nursery all the time)

They are a steal for 2 for £14 - i got the new v3 in today and comparing them i have opted myself for another 4 for my nursery stash.

The thirsties wraps are fab! I find the leg gussets better than the motherease actually!
