Hi

I am newish to mumsnet. Have been using reusables on my LO for the past 3 months. But I have a very skinny baby, she was only 5lb when born and is still a skinny minny (I am blaming DH's french genes, thank god she doesnt have my thighs!).

To date we have tried:
Motherease BTP - but these are soo bulky on her and I just tend to bung them on at night.

Ella's bum huggers - not too bad

Ellas hemp nappies - not too bad, but quite a heavey wetter so need to add boosters

Blueberrys - love them, but still a bit bulky between the legs

totsbots

Anyone got any suggestions as to which nappies are best for skinny girls?

thanks very much for any advice

sassib

How do you fasten?

Nippas would give you a much better fitting, bambinex are nice and absorbant and a bit slimmer between the legs than tots.

Modern baby? I found them quite slim fitting (not quite the same thing I know)

i find fuzzis quite slim between the leg and happy heinys. These two are my slimmest between leg pockets. As flame says f your going two parters a nippa would give a snugger fit.

Between the legs won't help a slim waist though, which is why I went with nippas.

gaffer tape would

Stops the little gits takin em off too!

nappyzone · 15/10/2007 14:18

lol! we havent got to that yet but i need a plan when we do!

Sassib · 15/10/2007 14:30

(LOL at gaffer tape!)

Thanks all, I will take a look and purchase one or two of these and see how they go. She has a skinny waist and skinny legs and crotch area.

Have just started with a nippa - so will see if that makes a difference, before was just using aplix or poppers... too much choice

If you look here , there are a few different mumsnet nappy sellers - might as well give them the profit from new purchases

What about swaddlebees? They fit my skinny 17mo really nicely.

Both these can be secured by nippas and fit well. (I use both these nappies on my two boys , who are a 5 weeks and 14 months)
