Anyone doing talk/listen/listen/talk or Siblings Without Rivalry?

DH got me Siblings without Rivalry recently, and I'm very impressed with it, but struggling to do the talk/listen/listen/talk thing with DS1.

Anyone else in this boat? Can we have a 'striving to do this' thead? And can this be it?

I'm kinda trying to do it with DS2 (3), but more with DS1 (6). The listening and not denying feelings thing works pretty well, when I can manage to do it ...

Just started the talk/listen book, but my stress levels have been too high to follow it to the book.
Think I really need the siblings without rivalry one, as my two are constantly fighting & hurting each other!

Siblings without rivalry is good.

I find that just managing to do a bit of talk/listen/listen/talk works wonders. I find it hard to do the whole thing, too, but am hoping positive results from doing a bit will make it easier for me to do the whole thing.

It's so so so far from how I was raised, that it takes a lot of little steps to get there. I think.
