Baby sleep after a cold

My 8 month old DD had a great sleep routine. She’s just coming out of her first cold, during which she would only sleep with me.

I’m assuming the not wanting to sleep is normal, I don’t sleep well with a cold and if I’d never had one I’d assume I was dying!

Did anyone find their little ones sleep went back to normal when they were fully better? Or did you have to sleep train?

We did CC at 10m and DD slept through for 5 weeks, then she got a cold and needed feeding/rocking/patting/holding to sleep for a while, when she was better we had to do one night of CC again and then she was back to self settling and sleeping through.
