Playgroup and potty training

My daughter is starting playgroup soon, 3 mornings a week. It's only 2 hours but she's just potting trained and still has occasionally accidents when she's distracted. Do I just let her go and the staff do what needs to be done, or should I put a pull up on to prevent her being wet? She hates it when she wets herself and don't want her to be embarrassed but also don't want her to get confused!

It’s best to speak to the staff members. I imagine they are experienced pros with their own established routine.
Simply follow their advice
Try not to overthink it x

I would do everything to avoid a pull up- sends mixed messages imo. Id mention to the staff.

Yeah that's what I thought, she's never worn a pull up and getting her nighttime nappy on is an absolute pain every time haha. Definitely overthinking everything, PFB Syndrome!!

It will be a case of telling her to go before you leave the house (not asking) and trying again once at play group if she wasn’t able to go at home.

Staff will be used to it! Just make sure to tell them at drop off so they can remind her, and pack 2-3 spare outfits - my dc2 was a champion for having half an accident, stopping part way when she suddenly remembered, and saying it was all done then finishing the wee 5 mins later in clean clothes Blush

She'll be fine, hope she settles and you get a bit of time to yourself too!

I’d make sure she goes right before it starts, and then talk to the staff and they’ll take her too, they’ll be used to it. And send spare clothes just in case

Yes she's good at going before we leave the house so that's fine, she does do lots of wees in the morning but hopefully if they take her after an hour, it'll be ok! Will not let her have too much to drink before she's goes too, she's a big drinker! I'm sure she'll settle fine but I'll be sobbing in the car sending my baby away for the first time ever 😂
