Is my baby erupting its teeth!?! Please have a look!

My babies has been so irritated recently keeps screaming in pain and wants to bite on things I have attached photos I think he is going to erupt his teeth soon please have a look and let me know

Yes most likely! It’s going to happen sooner or later, but they don’t get a mouth full of teeth overnight (as my very surprised colleague asked!) and it can take some time for the teeth to emerge.

It can be quite sore and miserable so maybe give him something cool to chew on? Good luck with it!! My DS has his last teeth come through at around 2.5 I think, and the first were the worst for us. xx

@icelollies hes been so cranky recently hes only 14 weeks bless him csnt even chew a teether properly hope they come out soon so he feels better :(

If your baby is screaming in pain, please give them some calpol or nurofen- they don't understand what's happening or why and they've never felt pain before, so it can be very upsetting.

@Ohalrightthen yes I have been giving him calpol but poor thing is still unsettled:(

Oh bless him, it is a miserable time when they are teething, a bit of calpol can really help. My DS’s cheeks used to go bright red just before a tooth broke though. It eases when they break through the gum, and then it all starts again when the next ones comes along - sorry!
