My baby won't sleep!

17 days old, but she's been mostly awake for 12 hours now. The odd half hour nap here and there but nothing substantial.

She's not crying, not uncomfortable but she just won't go to sleep! I've tried rocking, swaying, laying her on my chest, feeding to sleep, laying her down and letting her be. But nothing, I'm debating taking her out in the car as my next step.

Have you got help. You need rest too. The first few weeks are so hard

Yes I've got my partner. He just falls asleep with her even when I tell him that he shouldn't and explain why, so I'm finding myself staying awake when he has her so that he doesn't fall asleep with her 😣

Have you tried swaddling and white noise OP? My son was (and still is) a real stinker for napping. He just wouldn't do it. You will find out his little ways soon, it's such an up and down time. Be kind to yourself x
