I have Motherease for DS but SIL gave me a big ol' box of Cottom Bottoms for DD... and I like the prefolds better! I find them easier to use and they double up as great wipe-ups and changing mat pads.

Buy the prefolds but get much nicer wraps, is my advice. The cottom bottom ones have scratchy velcro.

Yes, avoid the wraps. They are pants (geddit???).

(They really are pants.)

NB the manufacturer are discontinuing Cotton Bottoms altogether so if anyone does like their wraps they are heavily reduced here

have used lots and lots of washable nappies, with variouse babies whom i have cared for.

Put it this way: I will be using real nappies for my own children

I will not be using cotton bottoms, and even if some kinds person gave me some i still wouldnt sue them as nappies (may use the cotton as a mat on the changing mat or as a cloth etc or as stuffing for a stuffable or a bosster but not a nappy)

They are my least favourite nappy that i have ever used. I dont like them at all (dont hate the wraps in the same way though... IMO the wraps are ok (still prefer ME wraps though)
